Plant Package of 4 species - 4 to 5 plants each!

Chelone glabra, White Turtlehead - strips of 5 regular plugs

Dicentra eximia, Fringed Bleeding Heart - strips of 4 deep plugs

Iris cristata, Dwarf Crested Iris - strips of 5 regular plugs

Tiarella cordifolia, Foam Flower - strips of 4 deep plugs

Regular plugs

These regular plugs are an excellent, economical choice for starter plants that do not produce exceptionally broad or deep root systems.

Each individual plug measures 1 ⅞” x 1 ⅞” across by 2 ⅜” deep.

These plugs are landscape-ready, but also offer a head start should you be interested in potting them up.

Deep Plugs

These deep plugs are typically the preferred size for plants that are shallow-rooted. The additional width of these plugs allows for horizontal growth of the roots, which benefits many species of ferns and sedges.

Each individual plug measures 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” across by 4” deep.

These plugs are landscape-ready, but also offer a head start should you be interested in potting them up.

Plant Package Description

This is a collection of beautiful plants for the part shade garden that support pollinators. These plants do well with periods of shade and will attract a variety of butterflies and native bees. These plants are almost all resistant to deer and rabbit damage, read below for more information. (Of course no plant is deer "proof" depending on the number of deer in your area and how hungry they are! Plant unprotected with caution).

White turtlehead are enjoyed by bumblebees and butterflies alike. In fact, it is the primary host plant and larval food source for the Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly. Also resistant to deer and rabbits.

Fringed bleeding heart attracts hummingbirds and butterflies, as well as other beneficial pollinators and is resistant to deer and rabbits!

Dwarf crested iris attracts a variety of native bees and ruby throated hummingbirds. Is said to have deer resistant foliage but is not resistant to rabbits, so you may want to hide it among these other plants for protection!

Foam flower supports butterflies and bees and is resistant to deer and rabbit damage.
