Virtual Native Plant Sale

CLOSED, REOPENING IN 2023

A CURATED SELECTION OF NATIVE PLANTS

NOTE: The Plant Sale is now CLOSED. We expect to hold another sale in 2023.

For the first time, guests are able to order from a curated selection of native plants on our website now through Mon., March 28. Pickup will be available at Phipps Garden Center on Mon., April 25 and Tues., April 26 from 1 – 6 p.m.

Online only, we will be selling strips of 4 or 5 native plant plugs. These are perfect for planting quantities of the same plant to create drifts that are both visually attractive and ecologically beneficial to our bee and butterfly friends. This sale features ten plants native to our region that have all been selected as Phipps Sustainable Plants. These are plants that not only feed and foster native bees, butterflies and birds they are also disease and pest resistant, will not spread aggressively and need little additional care once established. Having multiples of the same plant will make easy work for creating a new garden or expanding an existing flower bed.

Ordering is open now through Mon., March 28. Items on this website are not available to be shipped and must be picked up at Phipps Garden Center in Mellon Park.
