Plant description
This clump-forming perennial grows 2 – 3 feet tall and features upright panicles of small white to pink blush flowers in spring. It grows in average, well-drained soil in full sun. Native to southwester Pennsylvania, foxglove beardtongue is an excellent pollinator plant. It attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds and serves as a host plant for butterflies, including the Baltimore checkerspot and specialist mason bees. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant.
