Achillea millefolium, Common Yarrow
Sold in a strip of 5 deep plugs for $35.00
These deep plugs allow for a large plant - up to 16” tall depending on the species and time of year - with a well-established mature, deep root system.
This size plug is 2” x 2” across, and 5” deep.
The clusters of small white flowers sit atop 2 to 3 foot tall stems. The foliage is uniquely delicate, intricate and fernlike. The flowers bloom in early to mid-summer and lasts about a month or more. It is not particular about soil, but prefers them on the lean and dry side. Achillea millefolium is a drought-tolerant species that prefers being grown in full sun. This perennial species has a rhizomatous root system, and may spread enthusiastically in areas where it has little competition.
