Ideal for full sun to part shade, Hillside Heroes plant package contains eastern beebalm, narrowleaf mountainmint, northern woodoats, and Appalachian sedge. Eastern beebalm is great for native bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Narrowleaf mountainmint feeds a large number of native bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Northern woodoats is a host plant for pearly eye caterpillars and pepper and salt skippers and supports many other butterflies. Appalachian sedge is a host plant for skippers and acts as a ground cover reducing weeds and unwanted plants from growing in the hillside garden.
