Plant Description

Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii or orange coneflower is a perennial plant that typically reaches heights of 1 to 3 feet. This variety thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. The species is known for its bright yellow flowers with dark centers, which bloom from late summer into early fall, providing a vibrant display. Additionally, orange coneflower attracts a variety of wildlife, including pollinators like bees and butterflies, as well as providing seeds that are enjoyed by birds.
