Sedum ternatum 'Larinem Park', Woodland Stonecrop cultivar
Sold in a strip of 4 deep plugs for $38.00
These deep plugs are typically the preferred size for plants that are shallow-rooted. The additional width of these plugs allows for horizontal growth of the roots, which benefits many species of ferns and sedges.
Each individual plug measures 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” across by 4” deep.
These plugs are landscape-ready, but also offer a head start should you be interested in potting them up.
Plant Description
Sedum ternatum forms an attractive low-growing ground cover of whorled, green, succulent leaves. When in bloom, the abundant, attractive, fragrant, white star-shaped flowers seem to be sprinkled upon the colony.
While the species prefers well-drained soil, the cultivar 'Larinem Park' is more tolerant of heavy soil in full shade. It can be grown in full sun with adequate moisture. The creeping branches easily self root during the growing season if broken off. A low maintenance plant, excellent ground cover and filler plant for a perennial flower bed. It spreads both vegetatively and by seed, but is not aggressive. The blooming period lasts about a month, beginning mid to late-spring.
